This is a common phenomenon with macabre topics such as serial killers, conspiracies, and even spree shooters.
People who are morbidly curious, and want to find out as much as they can about this event. They have a paper due, or are genuinely curious and want to learn more about this event which has had a very large influence on American culture and how we conduct our public school systems today.
